What are the festival hours?
Liberty Fest activities will kick off Friday, May 28 at 8 a.m. with the opening of the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall at Liberty Plaza. Other Friday activities will include Fishin’ Fun from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Gussie Field Watterworth Park. Most Liberty Fest events will be held on Saturday, May 29. Gates open at 7 a.m for the Volksmarch and will close at 10:30 p.m. after the fireworks finale. Concessions will be available.
Do I have to have a ticket to attend Liberty Fest?
Event goers need a ticket only for the evening concert portion of Liberty Fest.
Where do I get tickets?
Free tickets are available starting April 1, 2010 and can be picked up at any Farmers Branch facility or sponsor locations.
How do I participate in an activity?
All activities are open to anyone who chooses to participate. Activities that require pre-registration are the 7-on-7 Football Tournament and the Backyard Grill-Off. Events open for registration the day of the event are Fishin’ Fun and the Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show. To register for one of these events, visit the events page and download the applicable registration form.
How long will the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall be on display?
The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be on display Friday, May 28 at 8 a.m. through Monday, May 31at 9 p.m. The wall is open 24 hours a day and is staffed around the clock with volunteers.

Where is handicap parking?
Handicapped parking will be available at the Sam Moon parking lot at Villa Creek and Ford road just east of Denton Drive. Shuttles will be provided.
Are there ATMs on site?
Yes, ATMs will be available at the Historical Park and Gussie Field Watterworth Park.

Persons entering the site may be subject to search for any prohibited items. The facility reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating the facility, local, state or federal laws or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by management.
